SECTOR SOUTH COMMANDER UNDER UNMISS BIDS FAREWELL TO RWANBATT-1 TROOPS IN JUBA, SOUTH SUDAN

This evening, the Sector South Commander under the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Brigadier General Dinesh Singh, visited Rwanbatt-1 to bid farewell as he concluded his tenure and leadership role. The event was held at the Rwanbatt-1 compound within UN Tomping Camp.
He was warmly welcomed by the Rwanbatt-1 Commander, Lt Col Paul Ndushabandi, who expressed gratitude for having served under his leadership. He further assured him that his guidance will always inspire Rwanbatt-1 to accomplish its mission.
In his farewell remarks, the sector commander expressed deep appreciation to the Rwanbatt-1 troops and their commander for their outstanding performance.
" I would wish you to maintain the reputation and legacy displayed as Rwanbatt-1," he said.
This heartfelt farewell brought together Rwanbatt-1 officers and staff officers from several countries serving under Sector South, including Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Egypt, Ecuador, India, Ghana, Nepal, Nigeria, Kenya, Pakistan and Rwanda, highlighting the diverse and multinational nature of the mission.
The event featured Rwandan traditional performances and multicultural dances.
